Hillary Is Confounded By A Coffee Maker

Hillary Clinton was caught on video befuddled by a coffee maker in a gas station. Apparently, the last time she walked into a gas station back in the late 80’s they didn’t have push button coffee makers.

While Hillary Tells Lies, Obama is a Lie

It has been fairly well established that Hillary Clinton has demonstrated a pattern of lying throughout her career. After all, it was just last week that she was called out by the media on the sniper fire in Bosnia incident in the 1990’s. However, with Hillary, what you see is what you get. She is one of the most divisive figures in American politics and she knows it. She is interested in winning at all costs. If there’s a President Hillary Clinton, you know there’s going to be much higher taxes, a move towards socialized medicine, and a continued move towards making the U.S. a universal welfare state. While she lies about various things (i.e. sniper fire, pick up basketball, Yankees fan, etc), we all know who she is and what she really stands for.

And then there’s Barack Obama. For the first 12 months of his campaign, the substance he offered to his supporters had less filling than a creme-filled donut. Phrases like “yes we can” and “we are the ones we’ve been waiting for” as well as words like “hope” and “change” are all we heard from him. There was very little discussion of who Barack Obama actually is and what he believes in. How has he shown himself to be the bipartisan uniter that he claims to be? Can he prove that he knows enough as a rookie senator to aspire to the highest office in the land?

Of course, these are questions that we are asking now….and the Obama campaign doesn’t like it. They’re actually whining about getting roughed up by ABC in the debate. Gimme a break! If Obama can’t handle Charlie Gibson, how do we expect him to handle North Korea or Iran? I tip my hat to ABC and Gibson for finally asking some questions that hit at who Obama actually is, instead of allowing him to cruise to November with this illusion of being a moderate. Barack Obama is probably the most radical left candidate for President this nation has ever known.

Just in the past month or so, these are some of the damaging things the general public has discovered about him:

  • He attended a church for 20 years that regularly preached racism and expressed anti-American and anti-Israel sentiment from the pulpit. He has called Rev Jeremiah Wright his spiritual mentor, yet says that he was unaware that Wright held these beliefs. I don’t know which is worse…sitting under a racist pastor for 20 years and believing what he says or sitting there and not actually knowing what he’s saying. What does that say for the type of administration he’s going to run?
  • He has a friendly relationship with known terrorist Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground. Bill Ayers bombed the Pentagon, the New York City Police Department, and the Capital in the 1970’s. As recent as 2001, Ayers said that he wasn’t sorry for the bombings and wished he had done more. Obama has described him as a friend and has appeared with him in public. They sat on a board together and Ayers threw an Obama campaign party at his house when Obama was running for Illinois state senate.
  • He had some possibly illegal dealings with slum lord Tony Rezko, who is currently awaiting trial. Reportedly, Rezko hooked Obama up with a very nice house at a very cheap price….too cheap. Possibly for some favors later for Mr. Rezko? We’ll see as this trial goes along.
  • Obama admitted to using various drugs in his teen years, including cocaine
  • Obama won’t talk to Fox News, but he is willing to talk to dictators such as Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, and Mahmud Ahmadinejad
  • Obama attended the Million Man March led by Louis Farrakhan in 1995

Those just scratch the surface. His understanding of foreign policy and economics is not only naive, but dangerously naive. His comments about “bitter” American’s clinging to guns, racism, and the Bible are continuing to cause a fallout among the voting public. It really just reveals that he believes that conservative Americans are basically racists, bigots, and homophobes. Those of us who have studied Obama for months now have known this about him and it comes as no surprise. When Obama doesn’t have a teleprompter, he gets off message and tips us off as to who he really is…a radical left wing politician who believes in wealth redistribution, who has multiple ties to anti-American racists and known terrorists, and who clearly does not believe in American exceptionalism.

If the general public realizes who Barack Obama actually is and what he stands for, he will dig his own grave and be buried in it come November. The Democrats only chance to win with Obama is if the public literally knows nothing about him by election day. That, my friends, will be the toughest task of all.

Operation Chaos Working Flawlessly

Operation Chaos

If you have tuned into Rush Limbaugh recently, you may have heard what he refers to as “Operation Chaos”. If you’re unfamiliar with Operation Chaos or with Rush Limbaugh, this is a basic rundown of it:

Republicans are crossing over to vote in Democratic primaries for Hillary Clinton, not because she can get the delegate lead, but because an Obama-Clinton deadlocked race going all the way to the Democratic National Convention would benefit the Republicans. The primary objective of Operation Chaos is simply to create chaos in the Democratic party–nothing more. It isn’t to get Hillary or Obama selected as the opponent in November. The nominee will be left up to the Superdelegates in the Democratic Party to pick. There are even some calling for an early Superdelegate vote to avert such a disaster.

So, this is how this “operation” is working. The battle in the Democratic party is embittering many of the supporters of Obama and Clinton and is drawing attention away from McCain for a while, allowing him to establish his positions without any major scandals that usually accompany any presidential campaign. Also, the Democratic National Convention is only 8-9 weeks before the general election, so if the race is still undecided by convention time, the Democrats will be forced with cramming an entire general campaign in that two month time period. Not an easy task considering that candidates from each party historically move towards the center after wrapping up their party’s nomination. The Obama-Clinton battle is forcing each of them to move further and further left. It will be virtually impossible for either to move back to the political/ideological center in an eight week time period.

The new poll today released by Rasmussen shows that 44% of Democratic voters want either Obama or Hillary to drop out of the race now. 22% believe that Obama should drop out and 22% believe that Hillary should drop out. An even more interesting number is 6% believe that both Hillary and Obama should drop out of the race. What if both were to drop out? You guessed it…Al Gore would be the presumptive nominee. This race may be headed that way eventually. There are already inside talks going on inside the DNC that could lead to Al Gore getting the nomination with either Hillary or Barack as the Vice Presidential pick. This, of course, is a long shot but the possibility remains. A similar thing happened in 1968 with presidential nominee Hubert Humphrey. Humphrey was nominated as the Democratic Presidential nominee but never won a single primary before the convention.

Various news agencies have reported that Operation Chaos is working and others are reporting that it isn’t. Tough to say in the end whether it is really having a major impact, but it certainly appears to be and it’s even got Democrats in Ohio attempting to indict Rush Limbaugh and voters who switched over for voter fraud. One thing is clear though–there is more chaos in this election than there was a few months ago. The longer this goes on, the better the Republican chances are in November.

Hillary Caught Lying about Bosnia Trip

Hillary Clinton often gives the example of her Bosnia trip twelve years ago as evidence of her experience. While First Lady she reports flying into Bosnia and arriving under sniper fire in the airplane and then being rushed into vehicles to carry her away from the airstrip. The only problem is that it never happened. Hillary seems to have dreamed up this grandiose illusion that she actually faced mortal danger as the First Lady and somehow that gives her the experience to be President. This exaggeration/lie is only one of many of Hillary Clinton’s whoppers that she expects us to believe.

My personal favorite is her claim that she plays pickup basketball. Right, I’ve seen plenty of 60 year old multi-millionaire women playing pickup basketball.

NewsMax has some other hilarious claims from Hillary:

  • She was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. who climbed Mount Everest.
  • She was a Yankees fan when she lived in Chicago.
  • She told upstate New Yorkers she had been a “duck hunter.”
  • She claimed on Sept. 11 daughter Chelsea was jogging around the World Trade Center.
  • We will see how savvy the Obama campaign is if he chooses to tackle some of these blatant fabrications. Of course, Obama’s got some credibility problems of his own so he may just lay low on this one and allow the voters to figure it out on their own.

Richardson backs Obama, Clinton feels betrayed

Bill Richardson, former Democratic Presidential candidate, formally endorsed Barack Obama for President today. This actually came as somewhat of a surprise to me as Clinton and Richardson have been very close for a long time. I was surprised at the brazen act of disloyalty to the Clintons and the purely political move that it was. Until now, I never saw Richardson as a particularly savvy politician, but I guess he got some good advice. He knows that Obama is going to be the eventual nominee and he wants to get on his good side early.

    Obama rally

Richardson would be a particular “prize” as a VP nominee as he is from a Hispanic background–not to mention he’s a way better and more experienced overall candidate than Obama. Since this presidential race seems to be more and more about identity politics and the racial make-up of the candidates, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Obama pick Richardson as his VP. Democratic political advisors would surely see this as a way to sure up the Hispanic vote in this country.

If Richardson is Obama’s eventual VP pick, tune into any news station of your choice immediately afterwards to be reminded that Richardson is Hispanic and how this is going to draw Hispanics in mass numbers to vote for the Obama-Richardson ticket. Hopefully, Hispanics won’t fall for it because there are a lot of other reasons to vote for or against a candidate other than his racial background. Politics in this country is really pathetic sometimes.

Here is what Richardson had to say about his conversation with Hillary from First Read:

Richardson described the conversation that he had with Clinton last night “tough.”

“It was tough to make the call, but I did. It got a little heated. It got a little tense. But it was understood, and I’m proud of my decision.”

Yeah, I bet it did. I wonder if Hillary cried during or after the phone call? She might have if there were television cameras around…that would have gotten her at least another 5 percentage points in the next primary.

    Democrat Delegate Discussion Underway

It appears that a re-vote in Michigan and Florida for the Democratic Presidential primary is probably unlikely. The Florida Democratic party recently proposed that a re-vote be done by mail-in; all 4.1 million Democratic registered voters in the state would be mailed a ballot. The cost of this endeavor? $10 to $12 million. There doesn’t appear to be any taxpayer money for this, so the DNC would likely have to fund the repeat election itself, which probably isn’t going to happen. There are talks underway to do the same kind of vote in Michigan, but Michigan will probably run into the same kind of financial roadblocks that the Florida DNC has.

    Che Obama Hillary

According to The Page by Mark Halperin, these are the details of a possible compromise between the Clinton and Obama campaigns over these Michigan and Florida delegates.

    • Michigan’s 156 delegates would be split 50-50 between Clinton and Obama.
    • Florida’s existing delegates would be seated at the Denver convention—but with half a vote each. That would give Clinton a net gain of about 19 elected delegates.
    • The two states’ superdelegates would then be able to vote in Denver, likely netting Clinton a few more delegates.

The Clinton camp would probably accept this deal, but maybe not. She might really try to get all of Michigan’s delegates seated for her (even though Obama wasn’t on the ballot). Who knows whether the Obama camp would accept this deal or not. He’d likely still hold a 70-80 delegate lead even if this compromise was reached, but it’s still going to go all the way to the convention. This whole thing is going to be decided by the Superdelegates, not the voters.

In other interesting news, this is a recent Rasmussen poll of likely Democratic voters nationwide.

    Black: Obama 81%, Clinton 7%

    White: Clinton 50%, Obama 39%

    Women: Clinton 51%, Obama 40%

    Men: Obama 60%, Clinton 28%

The Clinton camp has just really begun to polarize this primary based off of race and it is beginning to show in the polls. What is remarkable is the clear evidence of identity politics in America. 81% of black voters are voting Obama and only 7% for Hillary? That is just amazing considering there is basically no difference between Obama and Hillary on issues. It just goes to show you that politics in America has become a popularity contest and it’s about who looks nice, talks nice, and promises to “help us out” the most. It’s really pathetic. What we really need is a candidate that gets government out of the way of everything.

Before you rush out and vote for either Obama or Hillary, consider their stances on a few things.

    • Both propose plans for socialized medicine with all of the accoutrements, including rationed health care and long waits for basic services
    • Both are promoting a plan that would legitimize coercion and intimidation as legitimate tools for unionizing the workplace
    • Both are moving forward with plans to increase the regulatory burden on small businesses, thus slowing their growth and job production
    • Both have pledged to raise taxes on the very people in this country that provide over 70% of the jobs
    • Both propose increasing taxes on American companies, yet these companies continue to flee our oppressive tax system for better tax climates overseas. These companies are taking their jobs with them.
    • Both have proposed fleeing Iraq, even though this is the very place that Al Qaeda is currently operating. Shouldn’t we fight Al Qaeda where they are instead of waiting until they come here to fight them? The best defense is a good offense.

Please think a little before you go out and vote for a candidate in November just because they have a (D) or an (R) after their name. The future of this country depends on it. The repercussions of electing a candidate because of identity politics may very well put America on the fast track to mirroring the USSR.

SHOCKER: Eliot Spitzer’s Party Affiliation Ignored

Yesterday morning, the governor of New York and former Attorney General, Eliot Spitzer, confessed to inappropriate behavior relating to a prostitution ring. Of course, one can only imagine what kind of behavior we are referring to. The irony drips heavily from this story as Spitzer is known for his arrogant demeanor and overly aggressive tactics at prosecuting all sorts of moral crimes on Wall Street. Spitzer had prosecuted prostitution rings/organized crime in the past and was elected as Governor on a platform of integrity and bringing morality to the Governor’s office. Oh, the irony!

But I’m not here to catalog this ongoing scandal. If you’re interested, you can always watch the news. What I am here to do is point out how Eliot Spitzer’s party affiliation is rarely mentioned in the news. When the Larry Craig bathroom sex scandal broke, you heard “Republican” just as often as you heard Craig’s own name. It’s amazing to note how Spitzer’s close ties to Hillary Clinton haven’t made news yet or the fact that Spitzer is New York’s most prominent state Democrat.

USA Today’s print edition report of the story this morning started like this:

New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer was the brash Wall Street corruption buster who made ethics his trademark. He was on many lists of future presidential contenders. On Monday, he apologized after he was accused of meeting a high-priced prostitute in a Washington, D.C., hotel last month.

What’s the big deal right? There’s no mention that he’s a Democrat. Later in the story, this is how it refers to the Republicans involved in scandals.

Sen. Larry Craig, an Idaho Republican, is serving out his term despite being arrested on an accusation of soliciting gay sex in an airport men’s room. He pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. In a more direct parallel, Sen. David Vitter, a Louisiana Republican, was identified last year as a client of a D.C. madam. He is still in office. “It’s hard for Republicans to argue that Spitzer should go when Vitter is still in,” Sabato says.

On top of that, on the TODAY show this morning, somehow the “amazing journalist” Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira managed to go an entire FOUR HOURS without mentioning that Spitzer was a Democrat. During that four hours there were eleven segments on Spitzer! Shocking? Maybe, but if you’ve followed the media bias in this country you can’t actually be shocked by this.

If you don’t think there is distinct media bias in this country for the Democratic party then you’re either not watching the news or you’re not watching the news closely enough. Conservatives should take heed not to rely on headlines for our news…there is always more to a story than what news sources such as USA Today and the TODAY Show tell you.

Good for them: NY Republicans Threaten to Impeach Spitzer
